WordPress themes are one of the most important parts of a WordPress site. A theme decides the look and feel of the website and also decides if a website loads quickly or slowly.
There are two ways by which we can install a theme:
- From the WordPress theme repository
- Manually uploading the zip file
In this post, we will take a look at the first method.

- Open the theme repository
Open the WordPress theme repository by going to Appearance > Themes in the WordPress dashboard. After that, click on Add New.

Using the search box, search for the theme that you want. In my case, I searched for Zerif Lite.

When you find your theme, click on Install. After its installed, click on Activate.
